INVITATION
To promote and raise awareness of the UN 16 days of Activism against Gender Based Violence – an annual international campaign that runs from 25th Nov, the International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women, until 10th Dec – Human Rights Day, Redcar and Cleveland will be hosting DOMESTIC ABUSE – IT’S TIME FOR ACTION EVENTS on the 4th and 9th December 2019.
 
DOMESTIC ABUSE – IT’S TIME FOR ACTION… is free awareness raising & market place event for statutory, voluntary & community groups to further understand the impact of coercive control.
 
As a part of which, we are delighted to be able to offer a free screenings of the 'Rattle Snake' film - an epic tale based on real life stories of women who have faced and survived coercive controlling domestic abuse.

In addition, there will be a chance to network with others and access a market place event. There will be key agencies on hand to provide advice and information about the support they can offer and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

MON 9th DEC at 1.30 – 4.00 at GRANGETOWN UNITED COMMUNITY HUB, DERWENTWATER RD, MIDDLESBROUGH. TS6 7PY 
 
Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment

Arrival & registration will be from 1:30PM ready for a 2:00PM start.
