Police Appeal for Witnesses Following a Dispute in Hemlington

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident on Cass House Road, near to Fonteyn Court in Hemlington.
The incident occurred at around 4:10pm on Friday 20th September and involved three men reportedly having a dispute which resulted in one man aged 32 suffering a head injury.
The man received treatment in James Cook University Hospital and was later discharged.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and affray and has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information to contact Detective Constable Joanne Williams via the non-emergency number 101, quoting the event number 162314. Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at
