Appeal Following Attempted Robbery in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Middlesbrough.
 
The incident occurred at around 3pm on Wednesday 21st August on Esher Street when two men attempted to take a parcel from a man and then tried to gain access to his delivery vehicle.
 
Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact DC Andy Bennett on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the event 303183. Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
