Appeal for Witnesses Following Robbery in Guisborough

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Guisborough.
The incident occurred at around 6:30am this morning, Thursday 22nd August, at McColls on Westgate.
A woman was threatened with a knife, however, thankfully she was uninjured. A member of the public managed to detain the suspect until police arrived on scene.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and he remains in custody whilst enquiries are ongoing.
