Man Arrested in Connection with Two Robberies
Officers from Stockton CID have arrested a 48-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and he currently remains in custody.
The man has been arrested in connection with two robberies. The first robbery occurred at McColl’s on Stockton High Street on Thursday 13th June.
The second robbery occurred yesterday, Wednesday 19th June on Bath Lane in Stockton and resulted in a 70-year-old woman’s handbag being stolen.
Anyone with information regarding the robberies is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting 098600 for the McColl’s incident and 102448 for the Bath Lane robbery. Crimestoppers anonymously can be contacted on 0800 555 111 or
