Man and Dog Assaulted in Thornaby
Police are appealing for information after a 36-year-old man and his dog were assaulted on Upper Green Lane in Thornaby.

The incident occurred yesterday, Sunday 7th April at 9:30pm when two men walked over and assaulted the dog and the victim with an object.
As a result of the attack, the victim suffered a punctured lung and currently remains in hospital. The dog was uninjured.
The victim’s phone was also stolen during the attack.
Anyone with information regarding the incident, or knows the identity of the two men responsible for the attack is asked to contact DC Andy Menzies from Cleveland Police on 101 quoting event number 057959.
