Appeal for Witnesses Following Incident in Roseworth

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an incident in Roseworth, Stockton which resulted in an 81-year-old man suffering a fractured hip.

Officers were called to a report of an altercation between a 13-year-old boy and an 81-year-old man on Redbrook Avenue at around 3pm yesterday, Sunday 3rd March.

As a result of the altercation, the man suffered a fractured hip and was taken to hospital. Officers are appealing for anyone who was around the time of the incident to come forward as they may be able to assist with enquiries.

The 13-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
