Two Males Robbed on North Albert Road in Norton


Police are appealing for information after two males aged 15 and 16 were robbed on North Albert Road in Norton.


The incident occurred on Monday 12th November at 5pm when the victims arranged to meet a man to sell a turquoise Stomp pit bike. This had been previously arranged on a selling site.


The victims and the man discussed the bike and then the man punched both the victims in the face. The man then took the bike and made off towards Junction Road. The 15-year-old male attempted to stop him which provoked the man to threaten him with a small flick knife.


Both the victims attended hospital following the assaults. The 16-year-old male was treated for a broken cheekbone and injuries to his nose and the 15-year-old male was treated for cuts and bruising to his cheek and eye.


The suspect is described as being a white male, 6 ft tall and of muscular build with brown hair which is shaved at the sides and brushed forward. He was wearing a black Berghaus jacket with red zips and a red emblem on the left side on his chest. He was also wearing blue Under Armour jogging bottoms, black Nike Air Max trainers and a large gold ring on the middle finger of his right hand.


Anyone with information regarding the robbery or of the man responsible is asked to contact DC Ben Lincoln-Taylor from Cleveland Police on 101 quoting event number 208479.
