Appeal For Driver to Come Forward Following Collision in Middlesbrough

 

Police are appealing for the driver of a vehicle (possibly a taxi) to come forward following a collision with a blue moped last week.


The incident occurred at 5:30pm on Wednesday 9th May at the Belle Vue roundabout (the junction of Belle Vue Grove and Marton Road) in Middlesbrough.

 

As a result of the collision the 54-year-old female rider of the moped was taken to James Cook University where she was treated for minor cuts and bruises.

 

Officers are appealing for the driver of the vehicle to come forward as they may be able to assist with enquiries.

 

Any witnesses or anyone with information regarding the driver of the vehicle are asked to contact PC Gail Sutherland from the Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number on 101, quoting event number 082456.
