Appeal for Witnesses Following Serious Assault in Middlesbrough

Officers are currently dealing with a serious assault which is believed to have occurred around the Faraday Street area of Middlesbrough during the early hours of this morning (Sunday 11th March).

The victim, a 44 year old male is currently at James Cook University Hospital receiving treatment for suspected stab wounds.

Five men and one woman have been arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident and they all currently remain in custody.
