Cyber Crime Business Breakfast Tomorrow in Hartlepool

Our Cleveland Police Cyber Crime team has partnered up with the North East Special Operations Unit (NERSOU) and they are inviting members of the public to attend a series of cyber breakfasts in the Cleveland area.

The purpose of the breakfasts is to show businesses how they can be vulnerable to a cyber-attack and this will be shown by demonstrating a live hack. Advice will then be given on how businesses can defend themselves from being hacked as the teams will provide free vulnerability assessment service, which will give businesses an overview of ICT weaknesses so they can fix them before cyber criminals attack.

The business breakfasts are free for businesses to attend and tickets will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

If you’re interested in attending the cyber breakfasts, a list of the events can be found below. We have already had one successful event in Stockton last month.

* Hartlepool – Tuesday 6th March 2018 – National Museum of the Royal Navy, Maritime Avenue, Hartlepool
* Middlesbrough – Thursday 29th March 2018 – Riverside Stadium, the Leeway, Middlesbrough

The event will commence at 08:30am with registration taking place 08:00-08:30am.

Tea, coffee and a breakfast sandwich will be available.

To book a place on one of the events please visit Eventbrite www.eventbrite.co.uk
