Ongoing Anti-Social Behaviour Concerns in the Bishop Cuthbert Area |
||
|
We are aware of ongoing concerns regarding anti-social behaviour in and around the Bishop Cuthbert Park area and would like to reassure residents that officers from the Hartlepool Neighbourhood Policing Team are actively responding to reports and conducting additional patrols.
Recent incidents reported to police have included large groups gathering in the area, the misuse of fireworks, eggs and other projectiles being thrown at residential properties, and other behaviour causing distress and nuisance to local residents.
A Dispersal Order is currently in place to help officers tackle this behaviour and provide reassurance to the local community. Neighbourhood officers will continue to patrol the area and take appropriate action where offences are identified. The dispersal area covers the following: Hart Road (A179), Easington Road (A179), Throston Grange Lane, Falcon Road, Goldfinch Road, Bluebell Way, Primrose Road and Merlin Way back to Hart Road (A179) and a map is attached.
We are appealing to residents who may have CCTV, doorbell camera, dashcam or mobile phone footage that could assist our enquiries. Footage showing groups gathering, anti-social behaviour, damage to property or the misuse of fireworks may help officers identify those responsible.
You can upload footage here:
We would also encourage parents and carers to speak with young people who may have been present in the area about their behaviour and the impact anti-social behaviour can have on local residents and the community.
If you witness anti-social behaviour, please report it to Cleveland Police:
The support of local residents is vital in helping us address these issues and keep the area safe for everyone. Thank you for your continued support. Hartlepool Neighbourhood Policing Team 🚓
