Cold calling

Good morning,

We have recently received a report of males going door to door and cold calling elderly members of the community stating roofing work was required to their property.

May I remind residents not to accept cold calling quotes especially when they require the monies in cash and upfront.

Also can i ask residents to be vigilant and write down registrations of suspicious vehicles in the area especially when they are cold calling and to keep a look out for elderly neighbours.
