🚔 POLICE DAY AT ELWICK GRANGE CARE HOME 🚔

On Wednesday 8th July 2026, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team were delighted to attend Elwick Grange Care Home in Hartlepool for a special Police Day Murder Mystery Event.

PC Bide (Burn Valley Ward Officer), PCSO Nichols-Pickering and PC Coggin spent the day with residents, providing a fun and interactive insight into modern policing, forensic investigations and crime scene management.

Residents took part in a murder mystery investigation, learning how police officers gather evidence, examine scenes and piece together information to solve crimes. The event also included policing and forensic demonstrations, allowing residents to experience some of the techniques used during real investigations.

The day was filled with engagement, participation and plenty of laughter, with residents fully embracing the challenge of solving the mystery.
