We're proud to share that Cleveland's Independent Custody Visitor (ICV) Scheme has been awarded Gold Standard Quality Assurance by the Independent Custody Visiting Association (ICVA). 🏆
Our dedicated volunteers make regular unannounced visits to police custody suites, helping to ensure the rights, wellbeing and dignity of people in custody are protected.
This national recognition reflects the high standards of our scheme and the commitment of our volunteers, who play a vital role in supporting transparency and accountability in policing.
