Illegal motorbike use

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Your local neighbourhood policing team continues to receive complaints either directly to police or through partner agencies regarding the illegal use of motorbikes in your area.
This is an issue that affects the whole community and endangerours residents, children and other road users.

It is also a very difficult issue for police to tackle however we actively take positive action were safe and legal to do so.

Police rely heavily on the public to assist us in this activity by reporting and providing information regarding when and where these motorbikes are being used and stored.

It is also important that this information be provided to police promptly and where possible with cctv or photo evidence to support as we often have a short time frame to be able to take action following the offence.

Illegal use of motorbikes is currently a ward priority as raised by the community however we would also be interested to hear what other priorities the community would like to raise.
