Police Seek Closure Order Following Ongoing Community Concerns

This morning, Cleveland Police served notice at a property in Octavia Drive as part of an application for a Premises Closure Order.

The action follows ongoing issues affecting the local community. We have been working closely the local authority and social housing provider who is supporting this application, alongside local councillors and the town's MP.

Due to the impact on the local area, a Community Impact Assessment (CIA) is currently in place.

The application will be heard at court tomorrow morning, where police will seek a Closure Order for the premises.

We recognise the concerns of local residents and are committed to keeping our communities updated. A further update will be provided following tomorrow's court hearing.
