PCC wears electronic tag to understand more about management of offenders

An "eye-opening experience" that's how Cleveland PCC described wearing an electronic tag for a day recently. 👁️

PCC Matt Storey put electronic tagging technology to the test.

He wanted to learn more about how high-risk offenders are managed in the community. 

During the day, Matt had his weekly meeting with the Chief Constable, visited a local charity and hosted a scrutiny session with senior police officers. 

This was followed by a meeting with staff from the Probation Service, who manage the electronic tagging process. They showed him how he was tracked during the day. 👣👣
