Guisborough Policing Update

This month so far, Guisborough officers have been working closely with farmers to tackle rural crime. We understand frustration from residents concerning the use of off road bikes in public areas, and are encouraging anyone experiencing issues to report incidents on 101.

Shopliftings are also an ongoing concern within the area and we are working to follow up on lines of enquiry to identify individuals involved in shopliftings. Where incidents of shoplifting have been reported, officers have attended and obtained CCTV footage to help identify suspects and develop intelligence.

We have also issued a Guisborough resident a Community Protection Warning (CPW), giving them conditions to abide by to reduce anti-social behaviour deeply affecting residents.
