Youth Engagement / Community Pride

On Thursday 2nd April 2026 PC 2104 Geoff Coggin from Hartlepool neighbourhood police team  attended Throston Grange Primary School Hartlepool.

Throston had asked PC Coggin to attend and  to speak with Year 5 pupils in regard to their personal safety and that of fellow pupils and the importance of reporting concerns / telling a trusted adult when something is wrong or concerning at the  earliest opportunity to prevent harm.

The session was  extremely well recieved with PC Coggin listening to recents concerns and teaching the full Year 5  group how to be good citizens and how to be proud to be a community champion.
