Drugs Warrant, Skelton

On 19th January, a house on Byland Road, Skelton was subject to a drugs warrant. Guisborough and East Cleveland Neighbourhood Policing Teams and R&C Proactive Team reacted to community intelligence that drug dealing and misuse was taking place at the address.

A 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs after an amount of crack cocaine was recovered.

Another 48-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman were questioned on suspicion of possession of a Class C drug (Zopiclone).

Enquiries are ongoing.

We urge our residents to continue to provide information if they believe drug activity is taking place in their neighbourhood. This means we can add to police intelligence and arrange to take timely and appropriate action.
