Man arrested by Redcar Neighbourhood Policing Team on suspicion of ten burglaries

Whilst engaging with local businesses on the 10th December, Redcar Neighbourhood Policing Team officers arrested a man who reportedly tried to make off from police.

Following a short foot pursuit, officers followed him into a building where he was arrested on suspicion of ten burglaries which were reported by various businesses across Redcar.

The 44-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drug and he currently remains in police custody for questioning.
