New Ward Officer |
||
|
Good aftertoon,
I would like to introduce myself to you all as your new Ward Officer for Manor House having started in the role very recently.
I have over 20 years Police Service and have previously worked in a Neighbourhood role whilst I was stationed in Middlesbrough.
I spent today in the ward visiting some of the local schools and places of worship to introduce myself and getting to know the area and some of the issues. Also today marked the launch of Pride in Place initiative by the Council to improve issues in your area including clean ups, walk abouts between Police and ASB Officers, addressing ASB, off road bikes and crime. You may see news relating to this in local media.
I have been made aware that anti social behaviour, especially around the shops on Owton Manor Lane and Eskdale Road and that off road bikes remain a problem in the area and with that in mind these will be set as ward priorities moving forward.
Although we have strict policies with regards to pursuing these nuisance vehicles, we find the best way to resolve these issues is to seize vehicles from where they are being stored. With this in mind, if you become aware of any storage locations, please report this to police through tel: 101, online or through the COPA app This information can also be given anonymously.
Please use this system to contact myself and colleagues to share any information, intelligence, and concerns which you may have for The Manor House ward area.
Your information really helps us to understand the main issue for the area, set priorities and take action.
Please look out for the Ward Officer's messages in the coming weeks and months and encourage other family and friends to ‘sign up’ to keep them informed of what is going in the area, at www.clevelandconnected.co.uk
Remember continue to report crime via the usual methods, 999 / 101 / online, so our Control Room can assess any reports and ensure the correct resource is deployed at the right time.
