Off road bike seized

Off-Road Bike Incident – West View Road, Hartlepool

On the evening of Saturday 4th October 2025, an off-road bike was spotted travelling along West View Road, Hartlepool. The bike had no lights, and the rider had opted for the “no helmet, no problem” approach — which, unfortunately for him, is a problem.

PC Harding from the Hartlepool Neighbourhood Policing Team followed the bike onto Romaine Park, where the rider decided to abandon both the bike and the conversation by dumping it in a nearby garden. Despite PC Harding’s well-known reputation as a friendly neighbourhood officer,  the rider wasn’t in the mood for a chat about road safety.

But fear not — PC Harding knows who he is, and a conversation is very much on the horizon. Watch this space.
