Burglary in Stockton Town Centre

Hello,

I just wanted to provide an update in relation to a commercial burglary that occurred last week at a shop in Wellington Square. Working with Wellington Square security staff, the male responsible for the burglary was identified to local PCSO's who were patrolling in Wellington Square. 

The male has made off into the Wellington Street estate where a young male from Mill Lane Primary School has followed the male and informed officers where the male was trying to hide. 

Officers detained this male, put him in the back of the van and was taken to custody where he is currently in the process of being dealt with. 

A special thanks to the young male who assisted officers with this arrest, parents and school are going to be informed of his swift actions to assist officers!
