Local Priorities Dogs

Dear Resident,

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Dog fouling, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

You may have seen an increased presence of police in Brambles Farm & Thorntree today.

Don't be alarmed we are just carrying out local high visibility patrols in the area. To provide reassurance to local residents.

During these patrols we spoke to several people regarding dogs running loose on public land.

Just a friendly reminder regarding the laws surrounding dogs - Please keep your dog on a lead at all time and remain in control of your dog. Failure to do this may render you liable for fixed penalty notices for dog fouling, should your dog cause injury to a person or another animal you will be liable for this and could ultimately lead to your dog being seized.

Please feel free to say hello to any officers you spot in and around the area.

Thank You
PCSO Johnson
